In Singapore, about a billion kilograms of plastic waste is generated annually, yet only a fraction is recycled. Despite the abundance of recycling bins, contamination often renders the process ineffective.
Phoenix Prints provides a solution for individuals and businesses who want to make a real impact by ensuring their contributions to recycling are effective and meaningful.
The name Phoenix Prints symbolizes this mission. Just as the mythical phoenix rises from the ashes of its past life, we aim to give discarded plastics a new beginning, transforming waste into something valuable.
At Phoenix Prints, we’re not just about recycling; we’re about reimagining waste as a resource and turning it into something purposeful. Through 3D printing, we bring ideas to life while actively working to reduce the burden of plastic waste. Together, we can build a sustainable future—one creation at a time.
My Story
Growing up, I was always inspired by the power of community and individual actions in tackling global issues. Watching videos of plastic recycling efforts left a lasting impression on me and sparked a dream to create change at a local level.
As a creative individual, I found my outlet in 3D printing—a technology that unlocked endless possibilities for expression and innovation. But with my first printer, I was struck by the amount of waste generated.
Phoenix Prints was born out of my desire to find a solution—where creativity and sustainability could coexist. Here, people can create freely without contributing to the plastic waste problem. Instead, they take part in an initiative to curb it.
